The Office of Clinical Affairs is seeking to hire an Executive Assistant to join our team.
Under limited supervision, the Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Associate Vice President for Clinical Affairs (AVP). The position manages day-to-day activities of the AVP's office, ensuring the efficient coordination of communications, meetings, and strategic initiatives related to clinical affairs, hospital construction, and interprofessional collaboration across the University's health sciences colleges. The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted liaison to university and clinical leadership, exercising discretion and independent judgment in managing confidential and sensitive matters.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting executive leadership in higher education, healthcare, or public administration.
- Demonstrated experience with budget management, project coordination, and preparation of executive communications and reports.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of university administrative processes and office management practices.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling platforms, and virtual meeting tools.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise independent judgment, and demonstrate professionalism under pressure.
Demonstrated commitment to ethical, accurate, and timely work in a dynamic environment.
