About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Executive Assistant to support our financial operations and provide administrative support to leadership. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping (Primary)
- Manage day-to-day accounting using Quick books Desktop and on line for up to 5 different companies
- Record journal entries, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain general ledger and financial records
- Prepare expense summaries
- Assist with year-end preparation and work with external accountants
- Track receipts, invoices, and vendor documentation
- Maintain HST / GST records and filings
Executive Assistant Duties
- Manage calendars, emails, and scheduling
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and documents
- Support communication and collaboration through Microsoft Teams (channels, chats, meetings, file sharing)
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Maintain organized digital files and records
- Support special projects and business operations as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
- Proficiency in QuickBooks desktop and on line
- Knowledge government remittances
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 tools
- Experience supporting business owner
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Prior experience in professional services or consulting environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
