We're looking for a Director – Roll-off Services

Position Summary:

The Director of Roll-off Services will serve as the primary leader of our roll-off and waste disposal division, overseeing daily operations, managing a team of drivers and support staff, ensuring compliance and safety, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role is both strategic and hands-on, with responsibility for operational performance, employee development, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Roll-off division, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching through CRO.
  • Ensure efficient use of drivers, trucks, and equipment to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor service quality and timeliness to meet customer expectations.
  • Oversee ordering of supplies, tools, and equipment needed for the division.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, coach, and support the Roll-off team (drivers, helpers, and dispatch staff).
  • Partner with HR on recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with contractors and site supervisors to ensure services are delivered on schedule.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
  • Monitor and report incidents, accidents, and equipment issues.

Financial & Growth

  • Track division performance (labor costs, equipment usage, overtime, etc.).
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
  • Support business development by ensuring operational readiness for new contracts.

Job Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of operations or management experience in sanitation, construction, transportation, or related industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.
  • Knowledge of DOT and OSHA compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to manage logistics, scheduling, and dispatch operations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage client relationships.
  • Proficiency in operational tracking, reporting, and use of dispatching systems.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $70, $85,000.00 per year
