As a Buyer, you will play a critical role in supporting Valcom's manufacturing operations by sourcing, purchasing, and managing components and materials. You'll maintain strong supplier relationships, ensure timely and cost-effective procurement, and collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to forecast demand and manage inventory. This role requires strong organizational skills, negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to addressing supply chain challenges.

As a member of our procurement team, you will:

Source and purchase components, materials, and services to meet production requirements.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and pricing align with company standards.

Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Partner with Engineering and Production to forecast demand, manage inventory, and prevent supply disruptions

Track market trends and pricing to anticipate risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Prepare and issue purchase orders, negotiate terms, and monitor delivery schedules.

Analyze procurement data to streamline processes and reduce lead times.
