THE ROLE
- Lead Generation | Business Development: Proactively source and develop leads through networking, relationship-building, cold outreach, and industry presence. Build strong relationships with builders, general contractors, property managers, and listing agents to drive repeat and referral business. Leverage our strategic inventory and staging-quality flooring options to help listing agents shorten time-on-market for their properties.
- Sales Execution: Conduct onsite visits to job sites, homes, and commercial properties to present flooring options with confidence, focusing on quality, design trends, and value that aligns with the client's budget. Create accurate estimates, proposals, and job scopes that align with company standards and client expectations.
- Project Coordination: Oversee projects from sale through installation, ensuring timelines, materials, and customer expectations are met. Proactively troubleshoot issues with support from the operations and installation teams. Maintain high levels of communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout every stage. Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm satisfaction and encourage repeat or referral business.

THE EXPERIENCE
- KNOWLEDGE: Consistent work history. A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a sales related role such as Outside Sales Representative, Flooring Sales Representative, Business Development Representative, Territory Sales Manager or similar role in the flooring, construction, concrete, or a similar industry. An entrepreneurial spirit displayed in self-motivation and professional growth.
- SKILLS: Proven track record of achieving goals and KPIs through lead generation, sales, and closing. Willing to personally take feedback and implement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, and ability to delegate pertinent work. Ability to operate basic computer programs and accurately track information.
- ABILITY: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a felony/misdemeanor background and driving (Motor Vehicle Record) check. Must be able to travel a 60-mile radius around Omaha for customer appointments, company vehicle provided.
