About
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our fantastic team in the Ri Ra Irish Pub location in uptown Charlotte, NC
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of previous hospitality supervisory or management experience and be looking to progress their career with an ambitious and growing hospitality Company
This position is a combination of day and evening/late night shifts.

Who You Are
You have a "Hands On" approach and like to be heavily involved coaching staff and interacting with guests on shift, as well as "giving back" to the local community in which the business is located
You have strong planning, organization, time management, communication and delegation skills
You understand "Genuine" hospitality
You have a high level of passion for, and strong knowledge of, food and beverage
You have a desire to help in developing the hourly Team to propel their careers forward alongside your own
You have a solid, proven, record of management experience in a high-volume bar & restaurant setting
You ideally have experience in building and executing a strong private party business, and ideally have experience with private event software platforms
You ideally have TIPs alcohol procedures and ServSafe food management certification alongside any State or County required license requirements for the service of food and alcohol
You ideally have an educational background with a focus in the hospitality field
What You Will be Doing
Assuming responsibility and accountability for the business when Manager-on-Duty on shift
Assisting in the management of the financial (sales building and cost control), operational and personnel components of the business, both Front and Back of House
Based on experience; leading in the development and execution of the location's private party and events business, which is a significant element of the overall business
Assisting in representing the brand and business at the local level
Establishing, nurturing and maintaining trusted relationships with employees, guests, community groups, societies, vendors and local authorities
Assisting in ensuring that all local and state laws are followed as related to the service of food and alcohol, employment and the facility in general
