Are you an organized individual with a sharp eye for detail? Our distribution center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive the correct products by accurately picking items from our extensive inventory. You'll navigate the warehouse using scanners or pick lists to locate and retrieve items efficiently. This position is key to our logistics operations, directly impacting order fulfillment accuracy and speed. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and you will be supplied with all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role involves regular lifting and moving of products. Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial, but enthusiasm and a strong willingness to learn are equally valued. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or scanner commands.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked for each order.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety rules and protocols, including the use of provided PPE.
- Participate in inventory checks and stocktaking as required.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks as needed to move inventory.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to supervision.
- Meet established picking productivity targets while maintaining accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items (up to 40 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is helpful.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity.
