Key duties The post holder is an IM&T support analyst whose role is to implement, maintain, and provide user support and frontline system administration technical support to Trust systems. The post holder will report directly to a Systems Manager and work in close association with the Senior Systems Support Analysts. The post holder will ensure that users receive the best possible service in terms of data quality, system availability, technical and operational support.

Person Specification – Special Skills & Knowledge Demonstrable skills in Structured Query Language(s) SQL Demonstrable skills in the use of software and software development tools. A sound working knowledge and understanding of computer based systems. Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools. Able to deal with complex queries in relation to systems and data. Ability to analyse data from different sources and correlate discrepancies and outputs An ability to plan and organise workload to meet objectives and deadlines. Ability to communicate highly complex, sensitive, contentious information where there may be barriers to overcome
Person Specification – Desirable Understanding of the application of modern IT solutions. Understanding of clinical processes
Person Specification – Experience Substantial experience in a technical role Proven experience in the development of computer based solutions Systems development environments Database environments Experience with computer systems and software to allow configuration changes to be managed through thorough controlled procedures and testing Customer Service Experience or experience in a customer facing role delivering resolutions to customer issues.
Person Specification – Qualifications Higher Diploma in computer science or related discipline A minimum of 2 years experience in a technical environment with evidence of professional development. Experience of maintaining and supporting computer systems Use of Microsoft Office Suite
Person Specification – Additional Qualifications ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management
Person Specification – Special Requirements Able to travel across Trust sites to meet the requirements of the post
