Overview
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Self Storage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our self-storage facility. This role combines property management, customer service, sales, and light maintenance to ensure a clean, secure, and well-run property. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and prospective renters.
- Provide tours of the facility and available units.
- Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
- Process rentals, move-ins, and move-outs.
- Promote facility features, unit options, and pricing to maximize occupancy.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Operations & Administration
- Manage daily office operations and maintain accurate records.
- Process payments, reconcile daily deposits, and maintain billing accuracy.
- Track delinquencies, send notices, and follow required lien procedures.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports to ownership or regional management.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Facility Management
- Conduct daily property walks and lock checks.
- Ensure units, hallways, and common areas remain clean and maintained.
- Oversee maintenance needs; submit work orders and coordinate vendors.
- Monitor security systems (cameras, access gates, alarms) and report issues.
- Perform light repairs and cleaning as needed.
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Maintain strong curb appeal and a welcoming office environment.
- Post and update online listings and promotions.
- Assist with social media presence and review management.
- Develop relationships with local businesses and neighborhood partners to drive rentals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in self storage, property management, hospitality, or retail preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable with computers, software systems, and digital record-keeping.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform light maintenance tasks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work weekends or flexible hours as needed.

-Minimum 2 years experience in a sales or customer service experience, experience in self-storage is a plus
-Must be 18 years of age
-High level of integrity, accountability and initiative
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work weekends and holidays
-Must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, and arrive on time to scheduled shifts.
-Spanish speaking is helpful but not required.
-Able to lift 30lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
