We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that inventory records are up-to-date in our system. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) accurately.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock items.
- Identify and tag damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper inventory placement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support the logistics team with inventory-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
