Position Schedule:

  • full-time, days
  • no scheduled weekends or holidays
  • on-call every other weekend and every other holiday

If you have strong attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, enjoy multi-tasking, and have a knack for prioritizing and organizing your workload, Dove Healthcare - Rutledge Home is looking for you We are currently hiring a full-time administrative assistant who is self-motivated and looking to maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement.

As the administrative assistant, you will be responsible for:

performing office functions including: acting as front-desk receptionist

  • -answering telephone and directing calls, taking and directing messages, greeting and assisting visitors in a friendly manner
  • performing various clerical duties including: photocopying; typing correspondence (letters, memos, minutes, notices, etc.); addressing and stamping mail; sorting and distributing mail; and filing duties
  • maintaining and ensuring accuracy of resident cash accounts
  • scheduling and coordinating resident appointments and transportation
  • providing assistance to employees with requests
  • ordering and stocking resident and office supplies
  • auditing and conducting chart review to ensure compliance with state regulations
  • working as a resident assistant as needed which may include some nights and weekends
  • maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

Required skills:

  • excellent customer service
  • ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • ability to multi-task and perform in an environment with interruptions, multiple responsibilities, and deadlines
  • computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and other programs
  • ability to use various office equipment including copier, fax, telephone system, keyboard, typing skills, and math skills
  • ability to organize and set priorities

Required Qualifications:

  • must be age 18+
  • high school diploma or equivalency with additional education or work experience in a related area.
