Stratos Aircraft is developing a single engine composite jet aircraft. It is designed to comfortably seat six people and baggage, and cruise at 400 knots with a 1,500 nautical range. The Stratos 716 is among the first of a new class of personal jet aircraft. See for more information.
Position: Office Manager
In this position you will be assigned a variety of different tasks. Your work will range from admin assistance and running errands, to purchasing and inventory management. You will be offered many challenges and opportunities. Our engineers will teach you the basics of interpreting engineering drawings as needed to coordinate work with outside vendors. You will create and issue work orders with instructions for part fabrication and assembly. This is a collaborative effort with engineering and manufacturing, and we will provide ample training for these tasks and any specialized software.

Relevant experience is great, but a superb attitude is the most important for this position You must be willing to learn, and we will provide training for the right candidate. This position requires consistent high-quality work and attention to detail. You must have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities:
Answer the telephone and greet visitors at the front desk
Respond to various email inquiries
Procure and purchase parts, hardware, and supplies
Inventory control and management including shipping and receiving
Compile kits consisting of the parts and hardware for the various assemblies of the aircraft
Admin assistant tasks as needed
We will train you to create work orders with the step-by-step processes for making parts and assemblies
Assist with the planning and coordination of resources for the company's hangar, machine shop, assembly shop, and composite shop based on priority
Requirements:
Excellent proficiency in typing
Strong Windows-based computer skills
Experience with inventory management software is a plus but not mandatory. We use DBA
Manufacturing Software.
Good communication skills and a willingness to help others as needed
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on occasion
Possession of a valid and current driver's license
Ability to pass a TSA background check, required for airport access
Ability to maintain discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism always
Ability to maintain a positive work attitude with an emphasis on teamwork. We are a small team that works closely together. We expect a positive attitude with willingness to put in extra effort when needed.

Compensation:
Following an interview, we will offer the candidate a competitive wage based on experience. We offer competitive PTO
(Personal Time Off) and five paid public holidays. This is a full-time hourly position.
