Position Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced Service Advisor to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience, ensuring clear communication, and maintaining our reputation for high-quality service. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values honesty, teamwork, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers and clearly explain vehicle issues, service needs, and repair timelines.
  • Write accurate repair orders based on customer concerns and technician diagnostics.
  • Provide updates and set realistic expectations throughout the repair process.
  • Manage the workflow between customers, technicians, and parts sourcing to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure service orders meet internal quality standards.
  • Coach and support service counter staff (if applicable), promoting teamwork and consistency.
  • Support shop goals by recommending needed services and building lasting customer relationships.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in a service advisor role (independent shop experience preferred)
  • Strong communication skills—clear, confident, and customer-focused
  • High attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
  • Basic automotive knowledge; able to translate technical terms into customer-friendly language
  • Familiarity with shop management software (e.g., Shop-Ware, Mitchell, Tekmetric, etc.)
  • A team-oriented attitude and leadership ability
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $100,000.00 per year
