Job Summary
The Network Engineer is a skilled professional responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of an organization's network infrastructure. This includes routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and other related systems. The Network Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the organization's network environment. This position may require extended work hours at night and weekends to accommodate business needs. It also requires participation in the Engineering on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex IT systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions based on business requirements.
- Manage and maintain servers, storage, and networking infrastructure.
- Implement and oversee virtualization technologies.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect the organization's systems and data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Provided advanced technical support for escalated issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Participate in onboarding and integration of new tools and products.
- Implement monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:
Requirement
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Dependable Transportation.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT, with a significant portion in network engineering roles.
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems, server hardware, networking protocols, and security best practices.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Relevant Certifications (E.g., CompTIA A+, Net+, CCNA/P) are an advantage.
