Server/Host

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and experience in a fast-paced dining environment. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences while working in a vibrant hospitality setting that values professionalism and teamwork.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
• Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols to ensure safety standards are upheld

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Experience with food handling, food preparation, and general hospitality operations preferred
• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous

Pay: From $5.35 per hour
