Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service standards.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, promoting teamwork, training, and professional development.
- Manage food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and menu modifications.
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area.
- Support catering and banquet events by preparing high-quality dishes that meet event specifications.
- Lead shift management duties, including scheduling staff and ensuring smooth operational flow during service hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills and leadership abilities.
- Extensive background in food production, food handling, and kitchen management within the food industry.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing teams in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or catering services.
- Knowledge of inventory management, food safety protocols, and dietary accommodations.
- Skilled in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and catering operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively.
- Familiarity with restaurant management systems and food service management practices.

Pay: $60, $72,000.00 per year
