Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and elevate our food service operations. Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Oversee menu planning, recipe development, and food production to maintain consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures across all kitchen operations.
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Supervise shift management, including scheduling staff, assigning duties, and maintaining operational flow.
- Implement training programs to develop culinary skills and promote teamwork within the kitchen staff.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Extensive culinary background with fine dining experience preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in food production, menu planning, and food service management.
- Familiarity with dietary department standards and catering operations.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety protocols.
- Experience in banquet settings or large-scale event catering is highly desirable. Pay: $ $33.00 per hour
