Pastry Chef – Morimoto Maui
Join the award-winning team at Morimoto Maui, where Chef Masaharu Morimoto's modern Japanese cuisine is brought to life in the heart of Wailea. We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to lead our pastry program and contribute to an exceptional, world-class dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the pastry section, collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain a seamless, high-performing kitchen environment.
- Prepare ingredients, operate baking equipment, and execute production with precision and consistency.
- Produce a variety of pastries, baked goods, and confections while adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Develop and test new recipes for seasonal and specialty menus.
- Artfully decorate pastries and desserts to ensure elevated presentation and flavor.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock of pastry ingredients.
- Order supplies, ingredients, and equipment as needed, ensuring cost awareness and adherence to budget.
- Uphold all safety, sanitation, and health regulations within the pastry section.
- Train, mentor, and supervise pastry staff as required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65, $75,000.00 per year
