Responsibilities:

  • Maintain positive working relationships, provide direction and feedback to employees.
  • Educate Managers and Team Members on Chick-fil-A food standards and coach on productivity and consistency.
  • Monitor food preparation and ensure adherence to recipes, while conducting daily food safety assessments.
  • Schedule Team Members based on their skills and track performance, documenting policy/procedure violations.
  • Report to the Owner/Operator and serve alongside the other executive directors.
  • Ensure smooth kitchen shifts, delegate tasks as necessary.
  • Manage inventory and facilities.
  • Demonstrate understanding of key positions in the back of the store.
  • Evaluate and make changes based on Profit and Labor Reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must be food safety certified.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant management experience in the kitchen environment is required.
  • Must have basic computer and iPad competencies.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for up to 8 hours, and be physically active for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to understand and evaluate the Profit and Labor Reports.
