Desktop Support Technician
Contract - Onsite (955 Park Street, Columbia, SC
Required:
- 4+ years of experience in desktop and networked systems support
- 2+ years of experience in computer deployments, operation, and repair
- 2+ years of experience in hardware and software installation
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Edge Browser, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Expertise in supporting Microsoft Windows
- Requires the exertion of 50 pounds of force occasionally.
- Requires the exertion of 20 pounds of force frequently.
- High School diploma.
- Associate or a bachelor's degree in a related field. May be substituted for required work experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with a help desk ticketing system
- Experience with NTS Network
- Experience with Active Directory or InTune
Specific Skills:
- Desktop/laptop/tablet imaging using MECM
- BitLocker configuration & key verification in AD/InTune
- Microsoft Windows & Office Suite support
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, scanners
- Ticket logging & resolution through help desk system
- Asset documentation according to SCDOT procedures
- Basic knowledge of network-connected devices and NTS Network
