Job Summary:
Our Des Moines, Iowa facility is looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to manage the accurate and timely processing of orders. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will play a critical role in our logistics chain, ensuring that products are picked, packed, and prepared for shipment efficiently. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of our inventory and customer orders. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse environment, contributing to a team that is focused on achieving operational excellence. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall performance of our distribution operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming orders accurately, ensuring all details are correct.
  • Pick products from inventory based on order specifications, utilizing RF scanners or pick sheets.
  • Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
  • Pack items securely for shipment, using appropriate materials and methods to prevent damage during transit.
  • Label packages accurately and prepare them for outgoing logistics.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all warehouse safety standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, if certified and required.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is highly desirable.
  • Ability to handle frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts as needed.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
