Job Summary:
Join our team in Atlanta, Georgia, as a Warehouse Coordinator, a pivotal role in managing the daily flow of our warehouse operations. This position requires a proactive and organized individual to oversee and coordinate various aspects of logistics, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving activities. You will be instrumental in ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety throughout the warehouse. This role demands strong leadership potential, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to uphold high standards of operational excellence in our logistics hub.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and implement effective inventory management systems.
  • Ensure efficient order picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet delivery schedules.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
  • Train and guide warehouse staff on operational procedures, safety standards, and the use of equipment.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including the use of PPE.
  • Monitor warehouse performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement in logistics efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
  • Liaise with transportation providers and other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar logistics supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and other relevant technologies.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and experience enforcing safety policies and PPE requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications are a plus.
