Become a key player in our operations as a Distribution Center Associate in Seattle, Washington! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to contribute to the seamless functioning of our distribution hub. This role encompasses a variety of tasks, including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. You will be working with a diverse range of products, utilizing various warehouse equipment, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our logistics. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential. We foster a positive work environment and provide all necessary PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and efficiency standards.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Operate various material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (certification provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Assist in maintaining efficient logistics flow throughout the distribution center.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of safety best practices and the mandatory use of PPE.
