They offer a full suite of services - ranging from design and engineering to construction management and project delivery. Job Description The Electrical Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) is responsible for ensuring compliance with electrical codes, standards, and specifications through thorough inspection and verification of electrical installations, components, and systems. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining safety and quality standards across electrical projects. Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct detailed inspections of electrical installations, including wiring, circuits, components, and systems to verify compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and project specifications Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure proper installation and configuration Perform quality control checks at various stages of electrical construction and installation projects Document inspection findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions using established reporting systems Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance Verify proper labeling, documentation, and certification of electrical components and systems Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and compliance documentation Review and approve electrical permit applications and installation plans Provide technical guidance and recommendations to stakeholders regarding code compliance and safety requirements Required Skills: Associate's degree in electrical technology or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical inspection, installation, or maintenance Valid electrical inspector certification from a recognized organization (e.g., ICC, IAEI) Thorough knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes Experience with quality assurance processes and documentation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in using inspection tools and testing equipment Nice to Haves: Master Electrician license Experience with industrial or commercial electrical systems Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards Knowledge of energy efficiency standards and green building practices Experience with digital inspection tools and reporting software Background in construction or project management Work Environment Mix of office and field work with regular travel to job sites Exposure to various weather conditions and construction environments Potential exposure to electrical hazards, requiring proper safety protocols Regular interaction with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders Education: Associate's degree in electrical technology or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred Pay & Benefits Summary: $30 to $40 hourly rate (dependent on experience) Weekly per diem Full company benefits upon conversion APPLY NOW! *Connect with your Catapult Recruiter: Kailyn Hartley, directly at kailyn.hartley@catapultsg.com * *NOT AVAILABLE FOR C2C CONTRACTING* Electrical | Inspector | Construction | Quality | Compliance| NEC | National Electrical Code | Electrical Schematics/Blueprints | Inspector Certification | ICC | IAEI | QAR | Quality Assurance Representative
