Job Summary:
Our fast-paced distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina, is looking for meticulous Shipping & Receiving Associates. This crucial role ensures the accurate and efficient processing of all inbound and outbound shipments. You will be responsible for verifying shipments, preparing goods for dispatch, managing inventory, and maintaining detailed records. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety are paramount. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
  • Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
  • Accurately record all received items into the inventory management system.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and staging.
  • Coordinate with carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Maintain organized and clean receiving and shipping areas.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper handling of all materials to prevent damage and maintain safety .

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanners.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate PPE , such as safety vests and steel-toed shoes.
  • Good understanding of warehouse logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
