About
We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah! This role is essential for our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, picking them accurately, and then carefully packing them for transit. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well under pressure, and is committed to meeting productivity goals while maintaining quality standards. You will use handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment to manage orders. This position involves considerable physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting. Safety is our top priority, and all employees must strictly adhere to safety protocols and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing and labeling packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Contribute to overall team productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order information.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Willingness to perform moderate lifting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics processes is beneficial.
