Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our San Antonio, Texas facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock locations, and implementing inventory control procedures. This position is vital to the success of our logistics operations, ensuring that stock levels are accurate, reducing errors, and improving overall efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory management systems and best practices.   • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all inventory movements and locations.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory turnover and potential shortages.
  • Identify and tag damaged or obsolete inventory for disposition.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics and inventory flow.
  • Utilize inventory management software and other systems to track and manage stock.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and systems (e.g., WMS, ERP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform Lifting of items up to 30 lbs when necessary.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols, including proper PPE usage.
