You will work closely with suppliers and our internal logistics and inventory teams to ensure a smooth flow of goods into the warehouse. Maintaining a clean and organized receiving area is also a key responsibility. We are committed to a safe working environment, and all team members are expected to strictly follow safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Unloading incoming shipments from trucks.
- Verifying received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspecting goods for damage and reporting discrepancies.
- Accurately entering receiving data into the inventory system.
- Organizing and staging incoming inventory for put-away.
- Maintaining a clean and safe receiving area.
- Coordinating with shipping and inventory teams.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Practicing safe lifting procedures when handling goods.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
