Job Purpose This position provides an exciting opportunity to join our Northern workshop and mobile service team. Mainly based from our Wigan depot (and others) as required, you will be servicing and maintaining a vast range of construction and earthmoving equipment.
Main Responsibilities The routine servicing of construction equipment in line with manufacturers schedule and specification. Regular Lubricant and fluid monitoring and replenishment. Preventative maintenance / monitoring. Fault reporting. Cleaning, inspecting and preparing plant for transfer or redeployment. Fitting replacement parts. Working alongside other team members on larger maintenance / repair tasks.
Together with the above, there will be an opportunity to work with the Plantforce digital division in assisting installation of GPS Systems, human form recognition cameras, height and slew restrictors and any other innovations as the role develops. Product support and training will be provided as required.

Essential Requirements and qualifications Right to work in the UK Full Driving Licence
Beneficial skills and qualifications Experience of heavy plant and construction equipment and hydraulic systems Experience of construction routine maintenance to a required level and standard NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in plant maintenance would be beneficial
