Role Overview We’re seeking an experienced
DevOps Engineer
to join our dynamic and growing team. This role requires a mix of
technical expertise ,
leadership , and a
passion for cloud technologies —particularly
Azure .
You’ll be responsible for automating, optimising, and securing our Azure environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and efficiency across multiple high-impact digital projects.
Key Responsibilities Lead Azure infrastructure initiatives, implementing best practices in
CI/CD pipelines ,
monitoring , and
security .
Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and deliver
scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions .
Drive the adoption of
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using
Terraform
or
ARM templates , enhancing automation and consistency.
Mentor and support junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stay updated on the latest Azure services and tools, assessing their potential impact and integration opportunities.
Ensure system reliability, performance, and uptime through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
Contribute to shaping DevOps best practices and standards across Scrumconnect projects.
Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a
DevOps Engineer , with a strong focus on
Microsoft Azure
services.
Hands-on experience with
CI/CD tools
(Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Proficiency with
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
frameworks like
Terraform
or
ARM templates .
Solid experience with
containerisation
and orchestration ( Docker ,
Kubernetes ).
Understanding of
security best practices , monitoring, and automation at scale.
Familiarity with
Agile methodologies
and modern software delivery practices.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
Azure certifications
(e.g.
Azure DevOps Engineer Expert ,
Azure Solutions Architect Expert ) are highly desirable.
