Job Summary As a General Surgery Territory Sales Manager for CONMED UK&I, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our innovative products across a designated territory. You will provide exceptional customer service and hands‑on support, conducting product demonstrations and assisting in clinical settings.
With a commitment to integrity and excellence, you will represent CONMED’s high‑quality products to drive year‑on‑year territory growth. As a key member of our UK&I General Surgery Sales Team, you will take great pride in working closely with our customers to offer solutions that enhance end patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales of CONMED's General Surgery portfolio through strategic account acquisition and the development of existing customer relationships.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans, setting clear goals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Take full ownership of your territory by organising customer meetings, conducting product training sessions, and delivering high‑level clinical support in surgical cases.
Successfully set up and manage product trials.
Represent CONMED at key industry events, congresses, and exhibitions, providing technical demonstrations and deep insight into the CONMED General Surgery portfolio.
Maintain and update the Salesforce CRM Platform to effectively manage your sales pipeline, tracking opportunities, and reporting on progress.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the delivery of high‑quality products and service.
Participate in ongoing learning initiatives to stay updated with the latest products and market trends.
Consistently meet quarterly and annual sales quotas, maintaining a winning mentality.
Submit weekly reports on territory activity to the Business Unit Director – GS UK&I, as well as other stakeholders.
Adhere to and uphold all company policies and regulatory standards, including business conduct, corporate ethics, quality system compliance, and regulatory affairs.
Proactively familiarise yourself with the specific policies and requirements relevant to your role, ensuring these standards are fully integrated into daily operations and long‑term strategic planning.
Consult with management or relevant departments as needed to guarantee full compliance with corporate policies and regulatory obligations.
Education / Qualifications
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
A full, valid UK driving licence.
Experience
A clinical background.
Experience within MedTech sales.
Has experience with CRM systems.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Results‑oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
Self‑driven and a positive mindset.
Excellent time management and ability to effectively prioritize.
Exceptional focus and ability to bring tasks to completion.
Has a genuine interest in and derives energy from building relationships and networks.
