Organisation Design and Development (ODD) Lead – Citizens Advice Salary:
£53,830 + £3,520 London Allowance if applicable
We are looking for an experienced and thoughtful ODD Lead to play a key role in shaping the organisation’s ongoing design and development. This role maintains a strong focus on the experience of our people in order to enable organisational performance and impact, ensure a people‑centred approach, and develop and enhance the employee experience.

For these fixed‑term opportunities, the role will have a significant focus on organisation design reviews at team, function and capability level, supporting the organisation to respond effectively to change and evolving priorities.
What you’ll be doing The ODD Lead role is dynamic, project‑based and highly collaborative. You will work across a range of complex and interconnected projects, adapting your approach as priorities shift and new challenges emerge.
Key responsibilities
Leading and supporting organisation design reviews across the organisation
Managing multiple, competing priorities and pivoting between workstreams as required
Navigating complexity and identifying interdependencies across teams and functions
Influencing leaders to make decisions that benefit the wider organisational system
Applying holistic ODD approaches that may combine organisation design, organisational development, leadership and talent development, culture, and employee experience
Ensuring all work is underpinned by a strong and sustained commitment to equity, inclusion and diversity
This role requires extensive relationship‑building and stakeholder management across Citizens Advice. You will work closely with colleagues at all levels of seniority, including Executive Directors, providing advice, guidance and influencing decision‑making. Depending on the nature of the work, there may also be opportunities to engage with external partners and with our network of local Citizens Advice offices.
About you You will be adaptable, flexible and systems‑minded, with the confidence to work in complex environments and the credibility to influence senior leaders. You will bring a strong people‑centred mindset and a commitment to creating inclusive, effective and sustainable organisational design.
