Job Summary

Adalina Prime is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision of our new flagship location in Chicago. This role is responsible for elevating a modern steakhouse concept through exceptional food quality, refined execution, and innovative menu development. The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, build and mentor a high-performing culinary team, and uphold the standards of a premier, high-volume, fine-dining restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire all back-of-house culinary operations for Adalina Prime


  • Develop and execute a modern Italian steakhouse menu featuring prime steaks, vegetables, seafood, and seasonal specialties


  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation


  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a talented culinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability


  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, service execution, and workflow efficiency


  • Manage food and labor costs while maintaining premium quality standards


  • Establish and enforce sanitation, food safety, and HACCP compliance in accordance with Chicago and Illinois regulations


  • Collaborate closely with ownership and front-of-house leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience


  • Manage vendor relationships, sourcing high-quality proteins and ingredients


  • Drive menu innovation while honoring Italian culinary traditions

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a fine-dining or upscale steakhouse environment


  • Strong background in steakhouse operations, or high-end hospitality concepts


  • Proven leadership experience managing large kitchen teams in high-volume settings


  • Exceptional knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen systems


  • Demonstrated ability to control costs, manage budgets, and improve profitability


  • Passion for mentoring and developing culinary talent


  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile restaurant environment

Working Conditions
