HALOS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with Enterprise customers and prospects in the security and computer vision space. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the technical and operational aspects of our sales engagement, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall growth of our business. Responsibilities
Manage all enterprise customer trials, from scoping through execution and eventual production rollout, ensuring successful conversion and outcomes Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, partners, and other key stakeholders Create and develop champions in accounts to drive deals and achieve a technical win Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including product demonstrations, proof of concept, and solution design. Work with the sales team and channel partners to gather and analyse customer requirements and engage in discovery conversations to understand pain points, business challenges, and technical needs. Confidently address technical questions, concerns, and objections, and offer solutions to overcome challenges Act as the bridge between the sales team and core business (product, technology & operations) to understand customer requirements, demonstrate product capabilities, and address solution concerns. Present HALOS roadmap features and functionality to customers and prospects Own the management and co-ordination of tender responses. Maintain a high-quality, up-to-date RfX response and solution positioning repository including solution sheets and supporting documentation Design technical solutions that address customer and prospect needs in collaboration with Product & Technology Provide feedback and insight from customer interactions to shape product roadmaps and contribute to new features or enhancements; be an active influencer for directional investment Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to keep HALOS at the forefront of innovation and inform the Product Development and wider community Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows; produce whitepapers and market positioning content published as part of HALOS thought leadership Collaborate with Enterprise sales and channel partners to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to win deals Work with other sales engineers to learn from wins and losses Requirements
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a sales engineering role in a technology-led organisation (preferably camera, security or hardware/software mixed SaaS environment) Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences Willingness and ability to travel Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is desirable but not necessary Ability to travel to meetings, client visits and trade shows as required (UK/Ireland mainly) People want to buy from people who understand them.
