We are looking for a diligent and organized Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our outbound shipments, ensuring that products are processed correctly and dispatched efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing all necessary documentation, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate shipping records. Responsibilities:
- Process all outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and bills of lading.
- Verify that order information matches shipping details.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain organized shipping areas and supplies.
- Conduct quality checks on packed orders before dispatch.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding shipping operations.
- Ensure compliance with all company and carrier regulations.
- Uphold all Safety standards and protocols.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Must be able to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Adherence to using required PPE at all times.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving within a Logistics framework.
