We are seeking a motivated and reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments. You will be responsible for managing inventory, preparing goods for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and inspecting all incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
- Accurately documenting all received goods into the inventory system.
- Picking, packing, and preparing outgoing orders according to customer specifications.
- Loading and unloading trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and handling of materials.
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipment status and any issues.
- Ensuring all shipments are properly labeled and documented for transit.
- Understanding and utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory.
- Performing regular inventory counts and checks to ensure accuracy.
We require candidates to be able to perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Proper PPE will be provided and its use is mandatory. A strong understanding of Logistics and warehouse operations is beneficial. Emphasis will be placed on adherence to all Safety protocols.
