About
We are looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to manage inbound shipments at our Tampa, Florida facility. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the receiving process. Your duties will include unloading deliveries, verifying incoming inventory against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately entering data into our inventory management system. This position is fundamental to our Logistics chain, ensuring that we have the right stock available for our customers. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential. You will be expected to adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE . This role may involve frequent Lifting of packages and the operation of pallet jacks. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and various carriers.
- Verify the quantity and quality of received goods against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect incoming products for any damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received inventory into the warehouse management system.
- Stage received goods for put-away by warehouse staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Communicate any receiving issues or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE .
- Assist with inventory control tasks and cycle counts as needed, which may involve some Lifting .
