As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, preparing documentation, and liaising with carriers to guarantee timely delivery. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs forms.
  • Verify shipping information and ensure accuracy of orders.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
  • Package items securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage and ensure proper receiving procedures are followed.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
  • Adhere to all company policies and Safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE when handling shipments.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including some Lifting.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role.
  • Proficiency in shipping software and general computer applications.
  • Strong understanding of shipping procedures and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
  • Capacity for some physical work, including occasional Lifting.
