Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure minimal operational disruption.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics or electrical systems preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and tools.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as Lifting (up to 40 lbs) and working in various warehouse conditions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
