We are actively recruiting for a diligent Distribution Center Associate to join our expanding operations in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is crucial for the efficient functioning of our logistics hub, involving a wide range of tasks from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock received merchandise in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, meeting quality standards.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring correct placement and securing.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies immediately to supervisors.
- Apply proper lifting techniques to handle items of varying weights and sizes safely.
- Support the overall logistics process by meeting performance targets for speed and accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work culture.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Awareness of warehouse safety best practices.
- Dependable attendance and a willingness to learn.
