About
Our Nashville, Tennessee facility is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and other material handling machinery. Ensuring the optimal performance and safety of all equipment is critical to our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with preventative maintenance, and a thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, including the proper use of PPE, is essential. This role requires the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, as well as perform general warehouse duties as needed, which may include lifting. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (forklifts, conveyors, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain maintenance logs and records.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed.
- Perform general upkeep of the warehouse facility.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring equipment readiness.
- Must be capable of lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Must be able to wear required PPE and work in a warehouse environment.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations.
- Ability to perform tasks involving lifting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
