Job Summary:
Our Nashville, Tennessee facility is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is vital for the smooth operation of our Logistics and supply chain management. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, receiving and documenting incoming stock, and managing outgoing inventory. A strong emphasis on Safety is crucial; you will ensure all inventory storage and handling practices comply with safety regulations, and proper PPE must be used. This position may involve moderate physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 30 pounds, and requires strong organizational and analytical skills. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Accurately record all incoming and outgoing inventory transactions.
  • Maintain organized and accessible inventory storage areas.
  • Operate inventory management software and reporting tools.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety procedures related to inventory handling.
  • Properly use all required PPE .
  • Assist with stock rotation and identify slow-moving or obsolete items.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring occasional Lifting of up to 30 pounds.
  • Understanding of warehouse Logistics and inventory control principles.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and correct use of PPE .
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
