Your primary focus will be on monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing procedures to minimize discrepancies. A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach are essential for success in this position. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to ensure that our inventory data is precise and up-to-date, directly impacting our logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include performing cycle counts, investigating variances, processing adjustments, and reporting on inventory metrics. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly beneficial. Safety is a top priority, and you must adhere to all company safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role is primarily analytical, some physical tasks, including occasional lifting of items up to 30 pounds, may be required. - Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Process inventory adjustments accurately within the WMS.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements.
- Implement and refine inventory control procedures.
- Analyze inventory data and generate performance reports.
- Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and other departments to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the use of required PPE.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
