Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will be an integral part of our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from receipt to shipment. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments.
  • Inspect inventory for damages and discrepancies.
  • Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and pack customer orders with speed and accuracy.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
  • Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE .
  • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
  • Contribute to team goals and support other warehouse functions as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE .
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
