Join our dedicated team as a Distribution Center Associate in Huntsville, Alabama! We are seeking a hardworking and diligent individual to contribute to the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art distribution facility. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Maintaining an organized and safe working environment is paramount. You will be expected to operate warehouse machinery, manage inventory, and ensure that all products are handled with care. Safety is our top priority, and all associates are required to adhere to strict safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to handle frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to teamwork. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Store products in designated areas, maintaining organization.
- Pick and pack orders with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure the distribution center is clean, orderly, and free of hazards.
- Comply with all Safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Contribute to the overall logistics and supply chain efficiency.
- Perform other assigned duties to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Physical capability for tasks involving significant Lifting and standing.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and proper PPE usage.
