Seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Atlanta, Georgia. This critical role ensures the accuracy and completeness of our inventory, supporting our complex logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting thorough cycle counts, investigating and resolving any stock discrepancies, and implementing robust inventory control procedures. Your analytical skills will be key in identifying areas for improvement and optimizing stock levels. Responsibilities:
- Conduct frequent cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate, document, and resolve all inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Analyze inventory data to identify root causes of errors and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and refine inventory control processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee the movement and storage of inventory within the facility.
- Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensure proper organization and accessibility of all inventory items.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or a related field.
- Proficiency in WMS and inventory management software.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with RF scanning technology.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and wear necessary PPE.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all warehouse protocols is essential.
