Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our bustling logistics center in Los Angeles, California. This critical role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, implement inventory control procedures, and ensure efficient stock rotation. Your efforts will directly impact operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve order fulfillment accuracy. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles is essential. We maintain a high standard for safety, requiring strict adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory, and recommend actions.
  • Manage inventory receiving, put-away, and picking processes to ensure accuracy.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently (certification required).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of goods, including temperature-sensitive or hazardous materials if applicable.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Forklift certification is required for this role. Familiarity with logistics and supply chain best practices. Must understand and enforce safety procedures, including the use of PPE. This position offers a competitive salary within the $16.00-$24.00 per hour range, commensurate with experience, and opportunities for career advancement in logistics management.
