Join our expanding team as a Distribution Center Associate in Kansas City, Missouri! This position is key to our daily logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, accurately picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility. We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals who are committed to accuracy and safety. You will operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), and be expected to follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina, as it involves considerable Lifting and movement of products throughout the shift. Your contribution is vital to our ability to serve our customers effectively and maintain our reputation in the logistics industry. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming goods.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and other vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Report any operational issues or safety hazards.
- Contribute to team goals and overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks that require significant physical exertion, including frequent Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic inventory control.
- Strong commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if required.
