We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This is an excellent opportunity to grow with a leading logistics company.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory accurately.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and storage locations with incoming merchandise, ensuring proper placement and rotation.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety in all aspects of logistics.
