This role involves considerable physical exertion, including consistent Lifting of various materials. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for outbound shipment.
- Load trucks for delivery, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse space.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as directed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse procedures is helpful.
- Must comply with all safety requirements, including wearing PPE.
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 45 lbs.
